Looks interesting, a bit fake on some of the tutorials, but I imagine if you took care it could be quite good, what do you lot make of it?
 
If it's anything like PortraitPro, which I'm guessing it is, there will be nothing in there which you can't do in Photoshop/Lightroom.
There will be sliders to allow you to overcook any effect and ruin an otherwise OK pic.
I tried portraitpro, and it was ok if you turn down the sliders. I didn't pay for it after the free trial though.

What do you find depressing about it?
Do you find the use of other image processing tools depressing, too?
Is it something about how easy this (seems to) make post processing?
Or is it the fact that it's easy to overcook images using it? The same is true of photoshop, just take a look at https://goo.gl/j0Qxw7
