Yes
I've been stuck at home the past two days.

I'd just finished clearing the 4 inches off the top of my car yesterday when it started snowing heavily again so I thought stuff it and didn't set off.

We had another two inches last night so I cleared off my car and dug around it again this morning. Made my way very slowly through the village as the snowplough hadn't been near, got just past Burton in Lonsdale and just as I reached the the sign for Lancashire I also reached as far as the snowplough had gone.

He must have literally turned round in the road and gone back into deepest Yorkshire.

So I also turned around and went home as it wasn't safe to continue.

Lancashire County Council if you are listening, some of us folks who live in Yorkshire are Lancashire at heart. Please can you be a bit more pro-active in letting us in!!

I sneaked in to Lancashire today and more importantly managed to sneak back.

This is a shocking state of affairs. What are emergency services supposed to do?
I live near the hospital and I've seen a few ambulances with sirens on getting to the hospital as fast as they can........at about 20mph.

They have there invicablilty blue light thingys on the roof to save/guide them. Atleast judging by the way i was cut up on the very visiably white slick ice by a female copper yesterday.

Yep, they see to forget that some folk live 20 miles from the nearest hospital. Which I guess is one of the reasons I'm not prepared to risk either me or my car on roads they can't be bothered to salt or plough.
