Lambency Diffusers & Gary Fong Lightsphere

[THE-BIG-MAN-SAYS]

Any one used these Lambency Diffusers or the Gary Fong Lightsphere...? Are they that similar or is it a look-a-like but dont-act-like scenario...

Was wondering if these are any good, the vids of them look good...how effective for model shoots compared with proper lighting...I am a beginner...so if were to do a model shoot (freebie)...could this do well...or is it a gimmick...

I'm sure there has been plenty of discussions about them over time. Might be worth doing a search.
I do rate mine and find that the copies are just as good.

My experience is somewhat different in as much as I wasn't impressed with the stofen at all. I do rate the fong far higher and find mine invaluable.

There is no way that the real fong is worth even a pound more than the copies though in my book.

tried both and both gave the same results with the added bonus of you not looking like a tool with the stofen lol

That is a very very good reason for not going fong as it happens.
