Non UK Lake Maggiore, Italy

Anyone been? We've been to Garda before, but not Maggiore. We're heading over for a family holiday over the Summer and I'm wondering if it's worth taking the photography gear? Interested in either Landscape or Wildlife opportunities. We might spend a day in Milan, but apart from that we're likely to be exploring the area around the lake.

My favourite lake in Italy and well worth a visit. Some great towns to visit and definitely visit 'Palazzo Borromeo', which is spectacular.

Plenty of great landscapes in every direction!
