I want to test out the reciprocity on a roll of 120 instead of shooting expensive 5x4 sheets, so probably a daft question but is the emulsion used the same for both roll, and sheet versions?
 
The basic emulsion is the same, the only difference is the base. so results on the 120 film will relate to the 4 x 5 version
 
What a lazy data sheet. No details on reciprocity other than "no need to compensate for exposures up to 1 sec, for everything longer, do your own tests"

Another reason for me to not like Ektar :p

That is just business as usual at Kodak, Fuji are A LOT more generous with the figures they provide.

I know... :bang: it's like they just can't be bothered with it anymore. Fuji's datasheets are brilliant by comparison.

I'm intrigued to see the results of a 5x4 sheet of Ektar, I'd seen they were starting to sell but i've not seen any real world results yet, unless I've already missed some here?!:thinking:
 
On my 3rd box of 5x4, although I haven't shot any film for 11 years I can only really compare it to the 1ds mk3. So far i'm really really impressed, forgot film seems to have a "softness" to it that digital doesn't.

I've still got to properly work out Vuescan, and get some betterscanning film holders, then I can make a more informed judgement.
