Have been given the go ahead by the " financial controller " to purchase some more lights....depending obviously on advice from here.
I currently have a couple of sets of Elinchrom Dlites which I mainly use for indoor portraits but I have the urge to go outside!! I'm keen to try equine portraits and more interesting locations for my portraits.
I've narrowed my choice to either a Tronix Explorer or a Elinchrom Ranger Quadra RX complete set A. My thinking is the explorer being the cheaper option to use with my existing lights or due to no sealing at all the quadra set would allow me to take my flash where I want. Quick question about the quadras, will they be powerful enough to overcome daylight?
Any help would be gratefully received, cheers.
