been looking at sorting out my flash for macro work.can't really afford a dedicated flash at the moment,so thats out of the question for the time being...but came across this...

cheers colin,i like that idea..much cheapness,and velcro doesn't take up much room in your bag.would it work with a sigma 105 i wonder...only one way to find out i think

One thing I was considering doing was doing that idea, but with 2 flashes
the 580EX and the 430EX
As if i have a off-shoe TTL cable I can have that to the 580EX and have the 430EX as a slave.

But is there a way to get them to stay in position similar to the way the MR24 Macro Flashes are?

well,having found some velcro in the house,i decided to give it a go...and here's the first of many using colins macro flash system....i owe you one colin,many thanks

can't wait to try it out on bugs now
