Hi guys. Was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of any decent ww2 raf books. Read a few but would like more

Thanks

Mat

As a kindle owner, tell me what a raf book is and I might be able to help you :D

Oops. Should have been a bit more soecific. Haha. I mean war stories. Tales of fighter pilots or ground crews etc

Spitfire or hurricane stories or bomber groups interest me

Thanks gr8shot. I have unfortunately read this one. Great book.

This is the kind of book I am looking for though

night fighter , by c.f rawnsley

Typhoon tale , by james kyle

Wind in the Wires , by Grinnel-Milne (WW1)

Tail end charlies by John Nichol and Tony Rennell

Enemy Coast ahead, by Guy Gibson VC

Ive no idea if they are kindleable - ive got them all as propper books

Ooooh I....can't help you. Sorry :)

I don't think it's on Kindle, but 619 the Forgotten Squadron is worth a read.
Brings the Bomber war into perspective.
Also, I have a personal interest, my Dad played a part in why the book was written, and that reason was the first 'crime' scene I went too.
