Kindle Fire HDX on Amazon - down to £99 - is this a bargain ?

I don't have a tablet but have been wondering about getting one soon, and today I see that Amazon are shifting the previous generation versions at what seem to be a good price...

I understand the thing about special offers and wifi only but is there any major reason to get a newer one ?

is look into the hudl 2 personally. im not sure what os the fire runs but I have heard there are restrictions
