So I have decided to undertake one of these photographic 365's thingies. I thought why not.

I will try my best to post once a day but if not I will still make sure I get all my piccies up. I am fully prepared for some not to be as good as other, and I expect there will be some "filler" photo's as I start to struggle.

I shall be using my EOS 20D for the best part, but shall all be using my compact and my mobile (although only for a few I hope, but you know what it is like when you see a shot).

Keep your fingers crossed for me and wish me luck :thumbs:
 
I have to admit the starting shot is not of the greatest but still being slightly hungover from the previous nights new years celebrations it was about the best I could muster.

So what better image to start with then how I spent my night.......................dancing shoes and booze.........................what more could a girl ask for.

Just finished my 360 - keep with it and you’ll definitely enjoy the sense of accomplishment in 364 days time.

Taken on Dungeness Beach during todays forum meet. This shot takes advantage of the days failing (low) light which cast an attractive golden glow across it subjects.

This was my first real attempt at low light shooting and I was quite please with my attempts. I do crop this image slightly as I did not like the unsightly trays that were to one side (and my photoshop skill are not "all that").

Today I decided to have a quick trip to the local beach for todays image (seeing as it is throwing distance if my house).

I wanted to make use of the low light (to use the skills I learnt yesterday), but also wanted to play with shutter speed to get that blurty water movemenrt effect.

Ok, so this is probably not the best example that has ever been shot........but here is todays offereing.

thats nice.. tried to get the same effect when in galway for new year, failed though.. and was far too cold for faffing about with settings :-)

It is amazing what you can achieve when you are with someone who knows what they are doing!
 
Today was the first day back to work after a really nice long weekend off for new year.

The alarm clock was something I did not want to hear this morning, the hammer was something I could have done with to shut it up.

004/365 is well thought out and really well executed.
 
I'll start tomorrow................................... isn't that always the way with a diet?
Five days in and my good intentions have so far all but failed and the diet is yet to start. I did really well before xmas and lost over a stone, but the festive period has done nothing but help to out half of that back on.

Really need to get motivated and back on it.............................but hey, there is always tomorrow.

Thanks, I am trying to pick "something from the day" to shot. I know I shall end up with random shots so whilst I have the ideas I am going to make sure I use them.
 
eek.. that last one reminds me of my already forgotten NY resolution to get my lardy butt into gear :-)

Todays offering is.........................SNOW!!!!

Finally we get some. Although I have to add I am not looking forward to the fact that at 4:30 in the mornng I am going to have to walk to work in it.

Just a "capture" of the front garden after about the first hour of snowing.

Again todays image includes snow.........................I think a fair few of them might over the next few days (so sorry in advance).

This is one of the views I walk past every day to and from work. Only difference today is I stopped and took a shot.
