Kia ora (hey) folks,

My name is Hannah and I'm new here. I'm also a new photographer - have always liked taking photos with my point and shoot, and reckon I've taken one or two good ones in my life, but just got my first DSLR maybe 6 months ago. Haven't had as much time to muck around with photos as I had hoped since then, but I entered the Canon photo 5 for NZ and Australia last year and got one photo into the finalists. Pretty proud of that. Hoping to join a few forums this year to a) interact with more people and b) get better at photography!

Look forward to chatting with you all and hopefully sharing some nice shots of our NZ landscape and birds and stuff with you.

Welcome to TP Hannah - You can always get involved with the competitions and 52's that run on the forum. Will give you motivation and also some feedback on your shots. Alternatively, just post your pics for crit and that will help too in your development.
