It feel like I have been trying to find a solution to this for years and would value suggestions if any of you have found a solution.
I have 65,000 photos or so on Lightroom and would love to be able to search through them on my iPad using keywords. They do not have to be full quality versions, I'd be happy with them scaled down to look good on the iPad display. I have tried...
1. Pocket Smith - wasn't impressed - clunky and slow
2. Adobe cloud - can't sync all photos, can't sync smart collections
3. Creating published service to a folder on the hard drive with sub directories by year and synching with IOS photos. No keyword searching and hard drive intensive.
I assume that when Lightroom creates smart previews it generates a small JPEG, the Lightroom catalogue file certainly gets very big with smart previews. Isn't it a shame those JPEGs can not, somehow, be synced with IOS in a searchable format, taht would be perfect.
