I just bought one of these to mount on an electric helicopter ( actually a quadcopter) from a Chinese seller on the 'bay.
Quality is surprisingly good and not too far off what you get with a GoPro 2. Its quite resilient to crashes too, which is a good thing.
Of course there is no LCD screen, its point and press to record, but it is great fun and all for less than £30.
I thought it would be a cheap and cheerful way to get into filming from an RC helicopter to see if its what I fancy doing, before I spend the big money.
Anybody else have one?

I got a supercheap one for christmas from my brother.

Great fun, but by no means a 'proper' tool. Great for filming pranks on though...

What i found amusing was that there are genuine ones and clones. Genuine ones are made in China, and the clones are.....made in China. They are starting to copy their own goods now!
I know it's only a toy really, but a toy with HD output and of course it's cheap enough to sling under a plane or on a bike.
It's a big change from my VHS shoulder mounted video recorder ( deceased) off of the eighties!

I've got a bullet camera that I use on my helicopter. It takes an mini sd card to record to

I've got a couple of them, although older editions, used them for driving recording to and from work due to the massive amount of planks on the road.

Limited to 30 mins recording time, often needs a reset and isn't the best quality but for a few quid you can't complain really :)

I paid £28 delivered from China for mine and was assured it is a genuine, latest edition with latest firmware, not a copy. Apparently they record for about 40 minutes per charge. I'll wait to see if it needs any resets, but I have used it a lot over the last few days ( and dropped it from a great height attached to a helicopter) and it still works perfectly. So far..........

I've got 2, used them to mount to my car too record on track, one of which was velcro'd UNDER the back bumper facing backwards (with a zip tie aswell just in case) and they can take quite a beating, but at £7 a pop that i paid i couldnt care less if they did get damaged!
