Im thinking of getting a Canon 70-300 IS lens, but im not sure how long it will take to get here. Is he usually speedy?

If he has stock then it will be posted RMSD as soon as your money clears. Which might take a day or two depending on how you pay.
 
He had my 400mm in stock and despatched immediately the payment cleared. Excellent service.
 
Normally a day or two after he recieves payment (Paypal)

One problem with me, is that the packages need signing for, and no one is ever home...
