Good man, the average person couldn't be so 'forceful' with them though, it's because of who he is that they didn't really know what to say. It's ridiculous that the average officer doesn't know the law when it comes to this stuff, it's really not complicated. More worrying though is that they think they should do what they are told by big business.
I've had a run in with Westfield security staff in the midlands. My son is severely autistic and uses a wheelchair when we go out for his safety, everyone else's safety and my sanity. My partner was in hospital seriously ill, I had to go shopping and had to take him with me - something we always try and avoid as he struggles with busy places. He was flapping and rocking and making a lot of noise, but ultimately not harming anyone. I was asked if I could leave as he was upsetting the customers. I was having a very bad day and let the two security idiots have a big chunk of my anger. Ultimately I just carried on but I was disgusted that I was even asked to leave. I did complain and got and got an apology and a big gift voucher as long as that was the end of it, I was very tempted to take it further but life's is frustrating enough so I don't really need more complications.
Sorry to detract, I just hate Westfield and their arrogance, and I'm glad Ken told them where to go.
