Yes
I am out in South Spain, where is will be getting pretty hot for the next few months.
So, anyone got any good ideas on a back-pack/coolbag that will offer some protection from knocks as well as heat reflection, so my gear won't roast.
I don't want anything that looks too much like a camera bag though..

Any thoughts ?
Cheers
Steve

Anything that's waterproof basically. If it won't let water in, it won't let heat in tbh.

If you equipment is cooler than where its gonna be used ...could that cause condensation problems. ...?

What is the equipment? A Member here called Arkady has used a lot of equipment in African desert situations... I'm pretty sure he doesn't worry about it ...although he does admit to burning his fingers occasionally. :lol

The gear is canon eos 300d, maybe a 30d soon, and various canon lenses, and I asked the question as we have just returned from the beach, where the camera was left in a beach bag, and was almost too hot to touch - I assume it will not be good for camera or lenses to be exposed to that sort of heat too often - am I fussing too much ?
As for waterproof being heat proof - not sure if that one works - the temp is about 27 degrees, but the camera was way more, as the suns strength is high !
