If there is anyone heading out to Iceland in the near future you could be in for a bit of a show, not a definite but there is a lot of earthquake activity in Katla volcano in the last twenty four hours. Katla is a large volcano very near the town of Vik on the south coast. To give you a scale, Eyjafjallajokull the volcano that caused all the flight disruption a few years ago would fit easily into the caldera of Katla. A couple of links for you to keep an eye on things if you're going or just curious.
