Karlite collapsible background

Seriously considering buying one of these.

Anyone use or used one ? I'd appreciate some opinions before I add to basket.

Lawrie, I assume it folds as a large reflector does ??

Do you find it practical ?

It is not the easiest to fold, but you get used to it. Yes it is practical, but because of the height, you have to lean it if you get a low ceiling.

Had one of this type and loved it, but when I tried a goalpost type with paper roll background immediately switched and never looked back.

That was the other option but thought this would be easier for a portable set-up ?

Also not 100% sure about using paper, especially when kids are involved

The down side to a collapsable one is that it doesn't fit in the washing machine! A paper roll is designed to be thrown away!

The KARLite one comes with seperate Black & White complete slips that include the train and can go in a washing machine. It was designed that way to prolong it's useful lifespan - hence the 2yr warranty. The Photodeals one looks like a complete unit and therefore not washable

Im also trying to decide between this and the goalpost type....I would be using in peoples homes so needs to be easily transportable...

How much is that Karlite one with the black & white trains?

I just bought the PhotoSel one, also with B&W trains for £87 all in, should arrive tomorrow.
