Hello from sunny Saint Petersburg, Florida. My name is Rick. I grew up in a Military family so we move around quit a bit. Most of my impressionable years were here in Florida. My love and fascination with Photography goes back as far as I can remember. I've been taking pictures most my life, But just in the last year or so I decided to stat taking photographs. So thats why I'm here. I would like to improve my techniques and shooting skills. I am a member over at DPS but things over there seem to be going down hill with all the spam and petty bickering. I did learn alot from that site, but I think it's time to move on. I strictly shoot Canon now and I also belong to POTN which seems to have a similar format as this one and also seems to be just as friendly to those of us that want to improve our skills without being in fear of showing our mistakes for some constructive criticism. I will be asking a lot of silly questions and posting a lot of bad photos so please bare with me and help this old dog learn some new tricks. By the way it took me 45min. just to type this introduction so maybe I will be able to improve my typing skills as well.
