OMG, just got to the last quarter of "The killing fields" the bit where sidney, is in his apartment listening to "nessun dorma" while watching american B52's drop bombs on vietnam, jesus it touched a nerve. :'(:'(

what do you mean "why", a senseless loss of many hundreds if not thousands of innocent women and children, i dont know if you have seen it or not, but at that point in the film, watching the news footage on the tv, so many children, dead, dying, maimed, orphaned, thats why.
