meant to be going to a firework display that starts at 7 and it's been raining all day.

actually it's been drizzling..if it had been proper rain I would have happily cancelled my trip, but no, it's that crappy small stuff that's neither here nor there.

If I go, it might only be light and my camera and me wont be bothered too much...If it's heavier I'll get drenched.

Why did Guy Fawkes decide to blow up the houses of parliment in one of the wettest seasons anyway?????

been at work all day in the dry. only another hour to go (been here since half 8)
 
Hey Verb, I'm not bothering going out to the displays tonight because of the drizzle. Glad I went to Brigg at the weekend, at least it wasn't raining. I got to one display at least and kept dry.

I drove all the way to Winterton before deciding it wasn't worth it and driving back...now the fireworks are just teasing me.
 
Winterton was where we were going to go after last years excellent display. My main purpose for going was for photos, but they would all be ruined by spits of rain on the lens so thought it best to save the £££ and look out the windows instead at the ones round my end of Ashby......
 
I'm in Ashby as well, seems everyone has them round by us tonight...
