I have absolutely no idea.
Was just taking photos of a frog my cat had brought in (yep, the frog - which was still alive - was getting a portrait shoot

) and the head just died.
The modelling light just went off, no lights on the LED display, no bangs, changed the fuse, changed the power cord, nothing - totally dead.
I decided I couldn't rely on the unit after that (and after checking the Bowens forum I saw another person who reported exactly the same issue in January), so had a refund from WEX (it was less than 2 weeks old) and bought a Lencarta Safari kit instead.
It's a shame, because I really wanted to like the Bowens and was about to buy a Travelpak (fortunately I hadn't) but I need to be able to trust my kit, especially if I'm going to use it for weddings etc.
Hey - mine was probably a one off (or every one in a few tens of thousands of units issue) and I'm sure you'll be just fine with yours
