Hi,
Popped in to Morris Photographic in Chipping Norton today to have a look at some bits, one of which was a Panoramic head, was looking for the Manfrotto 300N Panoramic Head as it was bottom end of the cost scale at £139.95, they didn't have any in stock, they did have the Manfrotto 303SPH Panoramic Head retailing at £449.95, bit more than I wanted to pay, I was then told I could have it at 349.00 as it was the Display model, like it but was still more than I wanted to pay, someone then came out of the office and said the boss had said I could have it for £200.00 as he wants rid of it, needless to say I now own a Manfrotto 303SPH Panoramic Head,
Was also looking for some 35mm B&W Film, as a newbie to film wasn't sure what I needed/wanted, the guy serving me was honest and said he knows very little about film, and went and got a nice young lady who seemed to know her stuff, is nice to See that you can still get good service these days, and not just sales staff who know nothing but will tell you anything to make the sale, I was also in the market for an Arctic Butterfly, they only had the travel kits, but as I didn't want the kit, they split it for me and sold me the Butterfly only.
All in all a great shopping experience with Morris Photographic, and recommend them to anyone looking to buy, will be using them again myself.
