well moving back from liverpool, and being ill, mostly then day before i was meant to go out with my camera i had an accident. but im healed now but i got a dint in my leg where the muscle used to be and a nice scar.

i also had to format my laptop so lost all my old pics other than whats on here and FB :S

it wasnt wide abouit an inch in diameter but ir was deep and scooped out a lump of muscle. its healed now i have a dint in my leg, and the odd twinge and a slight limp
 
That looks like a nasty tear.

Can I be disgusting and ask if you leg muscle is kind of light grey/white with dark grey/black strips?

(or is it just mine that looks that way?)

That scar will take a while to heal (just re-read your post, sorry). You might find you get a bit of muscle wastage, but if you do, just do the excercises you've been given. I have to do mine every 4 months even after over 20 years since my accident.

The limp should get better with time, it's mostly about how your body reacts to the accident and how much weight you subconsciously don't put on it now.

Hopefully your back up and running to normal soon though.
 
missed the focus point there ashers...and it looks like the surgeons have crafted one piece of velcro to the hair on your legs..
 
it wasnt easy to bend round to take a photo of it its healed up now left a scart and as i said a little limp as well as a dint in my leg. i do get twinges of pain every now and again ***. it took about 6 weeks till the skin healed over. but im sure inside its not full healed due to the occasional pain. but when i touch it i cant feel anything at all like its numb. must have damaged some nerves
 
and to be honest carol i didnt really look at my muscle too much i was too busy panacking at the sight of the blood going rverywhere all over my leg and pants, on the floor and all over :S lol curiously it didnt hurt until it was being stitched and afterwards

scart cable indeed lol. i had to live in the lounge lol couldnt get upstairs lol
 
lmao i did lol it was the first place i felt when i put my hand in my pocket and hand came out covered with blood i straight away checked lmao.
 
i tripped over my shoelace fell into the road and onto a glass boottle which shattered and the neck of which impaled into my leg like a knife gouging out a lump of muscle and flesh just over an inch deep and about an inch in diametre
 
i know the worst bit of it all. i was on my way to the pub and i hadnt even had a drink :( i never made it to the pub. i just spent the whole night in A & E
