hi there
got myself a canon 400D on monday...i have been using a canon A1 and still love it.
it came with the kit lens EFS 18-55mm a 75-300mm lens a 1gig card, and the usaul cables and stuff, in mint condition. 300 quid the lot. for a starter kit i am well pleased.
hope to be putting up some photos later this week.

Nice one Micky, I have a A1 too and use it from time to time but it's a lot easier with digital to be honest

Congratulations! If you are anything like me, you will love digital. It has renewed my interest in photography.

I loved my A-1 and the AE-1P which was my second body. However, since I have turned to Canon digital, I have not looked back. Digital gives you the freedom, after the initial purchase of equipment; to shoot everything and anything you want. Take a chance and shoot anything that interests you. Shoot the subject from various angles and play with exposure techniques. You are now free from the constraints of film and processing costs. Enjoy yourself.....
