I'm absolutely-frikken-knackered :lol:

Was asked by a work colleague who wanted me to do the photography based on photos I'd previously shown her at work, I told her I would, but I'm not a pro etc.. etc... and only charged a very small amount in the scheme of things to cover me booking a day off work.

I've read on here many times a top tip is to take a bar of chocolate with you, this is one of the best bits of advice I've had :lol: think I'd have fallen over if I hadn't have eaten that between the drive from the registry office to the hotel!

Really enjoyed the day though, lovely couple, and lovely family :)

Now to sifting through 800+ photos! :nuts::geek:

Would love to see the results...... if you are allowed to of course. I have been asked by friends before, just nevr had the proverbials. Good on you, hopefully onwards and upwards then.

How did you find it was it nerveracking or did you feel it went well with the various poses etc.
 
Only 800 shots!! I did way more when I did a wedding, although to be fair, 90% are carp! (ok 99%)
 
Just checked, it's 928 - expecting a lot of crap in there though lol

They only wanted up to arriving at the reception and pretending the cut the cake, otherwise it would have been a lot more!

Just hope some of them will make them happy, I'm sure I'll post some up!

Donki, I was pretty nervous yesterday, but woke up pretty confident, not sure why but hey! :lol: Once I got to Stu's house to see those guys it was all fine :)
 
It gets easier the more you do!
Got one tomorrow and will prob take over a 1000
 
Well I've whittled them down to about 129. Had a lot more keepers than expected, but don't want to give them tons of very similar shots! (very glad I took them however, trying to take a shot of 30 people with there eyes open as you guys probably know better than me isn't easy! lol)

Here's a couple of them, will start adding borders etc... properly tomorrow, right now I need some sleep! :D

I read a trick in a book to do with this... get everyone to close their eyes and then open them when you say 'a magic word' - take the shot just after they open them and bingo !


Excellent shots BTW - I bet you're well chuffed !
 
Cheers Daniel - She's so made up with the shots, I feel more like a photographer after than this, instead of a bloke with a good camera! :lol:
