I should probably warn you that a couple of these are quite bizarre - at least one actually contains a human body part.
This guy makes cameras, mostly pinhole, out of various materials with the intention of shooting a specific theme with the camera, for example roadside memorials. The cameras themselves are just as much of the art as the pictures themselves.

An acquired taste I suspect and certainly bizarre!

That one works - interesting concept but not really to my taste, I would rather a use a camera than decorate it !

True, not all ate to my taste either. But I've been in a bit of a creativity rut recently and I found it quite inspiring in a way. You could argue that the end picture is the important thing in photography but this guy has made the camera part of the art which I think is quite clever. Much like the beach objects guy above.

The boy of Blue ones are creepy as hell. The beach debris ones however, that's a cool idea!

I totally agree 'Photography is all about the image' nothing more, nothing less. But for me, the subject has to have appeal, be attractive or capture my interest. These images don't do it for me, I do find the concept clever and admire the work, but it does not inspire me to go out and do anything similar. I totally respect the artist for his work.

No one can argue this guy is seriously talented with his ability to make cameras from just about anything he finds however, I think he is someone with serious mental health issues especially building a camera with a fetal heart included.

Can't agree I am afraid. Photography is a million journeys with each picture an end point of one of those adventures. The tools are as much part of the trip as is the journey to the image itself.

Indeed, if it was just the final image that mattered we'd all be using digital or enormous LF cameras and

The Boy of Blue cameras seem a little "shocking for shocking's sake". The found beach objects are a great idea though - I'd love to try something similar!

That cameras are a mess. The end!!!!

You've taken me too literally. The camera is of course a creative tool
To which you have the controls to get you where you want to be ! :-)

Dude, you even put it in quotes - can't take that too literally :p To be honest though, I was sort of surprised that anyone these days that still uses film could have that attitude so figured maybe you overstated the point :D

As the song says, it's not (just) what you do, it's the way that you do it!
