saw series of very high res photos of animals. and they sell for 5k+ minimum

albeit they are great pictures...but part of me thinking...hmm the reason for the high price is because it is in such high resolution. Ok your camera cost 25k but seriously?!

this particular artist is a very good animal photographer clearly. as his copy of book of dog costs 1K to buy alone, that's about 125 pages of dog portraits doings dog things.

then there is the wild animal, which is quite impressive as he manages to get shots of these wild beasts behaving as tho tamed. but some part of me is also doubting the fact these shots are taken in the wild.

anyway the point is, how can a photograph print cost 25K...
 
crazy price...the photos clearly grabbed a lot of attention as there were a lot of people standing around them admiring the minute details on the HUGE canvas. but how can he charge 25K for print.

So glad there was no Damien Hurst's mass produced prints on display this year and saw a couple of works of Paul Emsley, quite impressive...he is clearly very good at reproducing high definition details on a painted canvas
