Our u16's have made it to the county cup final being played at rushden and diamonds ground in april what are the chance that

A)they will let me take my camera in

B) is it worth asking them if i can pitch side to try and get some pictures during the match or would i need my own PL to do that?

just thought i would ask the experts to see if its worth going down the route that im the clubs photographer and trying it that?

Many thanks

You need to ask the county FA

I am covering simmilar cup finals for the lancashire FA.. I have 14 of them over 2 mths .. one tonight actually... Nobody else is allowed to take pictures unless your A) Club photogrpaher and not going to upload to internet, B) Media or C) parents or fans with point and shoots.

If your county FA havent got a deal with a photographer then they may let you take pictures.. only they will know.

If you do manage to go pitchside then yes you will need PL unless the FA deem you are doing it under there insurance.. Thats another question.. because lets say you dont sort it and a 16 yr old player crashes into you and does anything from gashes his leg to sparked out... and his prents make a claim... can you afford to pay out of your own pocket?

Thanks for the reply

Yeah if no pl was in place had no intention of doing it not in this day and age. No doubt someone else will have the rights.
