My daughter's boyfriend is taking part in this event
So I'm thinking about going along on DAY 3 to get some shots. There is a map on the site that shows the route, starting at Lulworth and ending at the Shell Bay ferry. So a couple of points please.
1. Does anybody have any ideas where good shooting points may be on the route? I'm thinking maybe I can get 2 or 3 different sets in over a 3 1/2 - 4 hour race.
2. It's right out of my comfort zone, I've never shot anything like this before, normally stick to ball sports. I'm thinking the best lens would be my 70 - 200, with maybe the 1.4 convertor. I don't know how close I can get to the runners.
