jpeg from raw

Just a quick question, when you process your RAW file then save as jpeg, do you open up the jpeg seperately to sharpen it for the final curtain ?
I noticed i can sharpen a RAW file but i doubt it does.

it does sharpenthe file (new acr and lr3 do it well) although I must admit Ps is where I sharpen

Hi Graham

Are you using camera raw 5 in photoshop? If you are there is the option to sharpen there but you will not actually see any difference unless you enlarge the photo to 100%.

In PSE there is a default setting (25 I think) for sharpening.
When you finish processing the RAW file open it and make any other editing adjustments you want then sharpen just before saving the file as a jpeg.
