Yes
Had a quiet hour in salisbury the other day whilst waiting for my mother to appear, spent the time playing with a nikon fm and a roll of b+w. Now I have no idea what the images are like, and i haven't taken them for processing yet, but already it was one of the best hours of photography I've had. I was thinking more, taking more care over composition, thinking about contrast and colours that will work well with b+w, spent a lot of time wondering about the 3 leds and the accuracy of the metering too!

Overall, even if the photos are crap I'll be doing it again! That size camera with a 50mm just feels... right!

Welcome to the dark side........

Nikon FM, roll of black and white film, 50mm lens"..............................................

A great way to spend an hour or two in my view.

its just a shame i've got a 50mm f1.8D, feels too new!!! I knew i shouldnt have bought the FM, now i've gotta convince the mrs that the garage needs to become a darkroom!

 Welcome to F&C, best part of TP IMO. Great isn't it making sure everything is in place before you fire the shutter. I hope you get a few keepers and look forward to seeing them
