North England Jodrell Bank. Is it lit up at night?

OK. Once we've decided to go or not on Monday we can discuss arrangements for Tuesday.
 
LOL, depends what you want, urban, landscapes, wildlife? Averbury is less than 30 mins away, good for a clear night. Plenty of white horses around.
Or its a big, old railway town, so plenty of urban opportunities.

Wildlife, I had 4 foxes in my close last night, regular visitors, we've a local sparrowhawk that's taken two of next doors doves.. Plenty of deer on Shaw ridge, kestral, buzzards...

At least you are warm. I'm in Deansgate and it's effin freezing. No coffee shops open. Don't want a pint because the train home will be a fridge with no loo and my bladder won't stand the strain!

Not even got many decent shots. Why did I come?
 
Shucks, and after I've gone and splashed out on a lens for the IR 40D. I forgot I had that when I sold all the Canon gear so had to spend all opf £60 on a kit 18-55.
Ah well. Business is business. Keep in touch about all the various trips we're talking about.
 
Sorry I've not kept up with this thread.

I'm going scouting tomorrow for some good spots. I've spent some time on Google maps and street view looking for good spots.

I've been ill so haven't had chance to go yet.

We can always have a couple of visits do no problem as to when.

Think I'm probably easier to fit in than David who is self employed so has to jump when the customer shouts.
I'm quite happy to do a couple of visits. I usually see what I've done then think of things to do differently!
Just keep us posted.

Hope you not had this Brazilian virus. I don't think I could cope with a smaller brain than I have now!

Nope just a bad chest infection causing me to wheeze like an old leaky steam engine. I'll be going over to Jodrell bank tomorrow now I've managed to find my XT-1 that I'd put away safely lol
