This is also the "SLR zoom" version that supports more weight.

These are about £50 from Jessops.

There again, 2gb SD cards are £50 from jessops!
 
I bought one of these just before my hols. Cost £30. I found it a very handy piece of kit.
I used it with my 5d and a 24-70mm lens, it just about managed this weight, would not trust it with a larger lens. The image below was taken using it. Clamped to the balcony rail.

Looking at the date between the first £14.99 deal and this one, fingers crossed in a couple of weeks they'll be back at £14.99 (at least that's what I'm hoping).

Mine arrived this week too - looks a lot more stable than the original SLR one i have :)
