Hey guys!

I am just wondering whether anybody is using Jinbei HSS flashes? I am wondering what trigger you use for hss? Do you also use the same trigger to increase/decrease flash output level?

I have seen variations where photographers use Younguo Yn-622 triggers to trigger HSS mode and use the native included Jinbei trigger to modify flash output. It means that I need to trigger in my hand/on my camera...

Any experience?

I do the same thing exactly with my Safari2, I just stick the Safari controller in my pocket once it's set.

How did the Safari's work out? Are they good? Isn't it too cumbersome to work with it?
It's not cumbersome, but the Safari has too short a burn to make it really useful. I end up using an ND filter.

Are you in fact talking about HSS, or is it tail end sync that you're interested in? They're totally different.

Technically it's not HSS, as Garry says its tail hyper sync.

Well, according to this review on lighting rumours, it does in fact have HSS capabilities, and the review talks about the triggers needed for that.
The review sort of indicates that it is in fact an IGBT flash, even though it doesn't say so, but I think it must be if it works with HSS.

But, even this review has found a number of faults with the unit.
