Jinbei Discovery DC-600/1200- where to buy?

Hi guys,

I'm looking for Jinbei Discovery DC-600 or DC-1200 portable flash sets. Recently the price of this kit went up a lot.
I was looking around and http://www.photospecialist.co.uk/ seems to be the cheapest option.
Do you know any other stores selling them?

AFAIK they are the sole UK suppliers.

They are actually a Dutch firm (and you get charged in €), that's their UK front.

Somebody will be along soon to suggest a striking similarity to Lencarta's offering [which they have strenuously denied is the same thing - let's not start that again]. If you're looking for bits rather than a full kit it may be cheaper to order from them - some of the bits like the heads are the same.

Thanks Jonathan, I will scan the network one more time for alternatives. I'm now also considering buying second hand kit so I should soon find something nice for me :)
 
Hi,

I too am looking for a DC-1200 and contacted a British company who are going to order me one in direct from Jinbei.

They said they'd have to order a few, so they will soon have some in stock:
