No idea if they are any good or not but when I was considering a telecon a while back and watching ebay the jessops ones were quite common. Implies to me that people buy them then put them on ebay once they have used it and maybe been dissappointed?

Sigma telecons seem well regarded. Assume you have read up on autofocus issues and reduced apertures etc. general stuff to telecons?

One or other of the photo magazines has just done a comparison on TC's I think - I seem to recall they tested about five different ones, but can't remember off the top of my head if the jessops one was among them. I'll see if I can find the article

i would stick with canon or Kenco to be honest Andy, thats only from what ive been told, not tired the sigma unit

Not done any research whatsoever, just want a longer lens!!
if you could let me know the pitfalls also it would be appreciated.
