It dont happen very often but I accidentally walked by jessops like a fish on a hook, and started looking at lenses, before I knew it, my gold soverigns had been swapped for a sigma 24-70 ex dg f2.8, mucho deniro, but when we exchanged soverigns for said lens it was only £327. A result me thinks.

Even if it is the non HSM one, that's £100 cheaper than WSE. Good find!

The sigma 24-70 has been considered discontinued by sigma (in lieu of the new HSM version), and generally when something has been discontinued by sigma jessops stop buying it and drop the prices.
I got my 24-60 for £44 :D

I got it for 97 sovereigns cheaper only 3 months ago, but that is still a cheap price by todays current prices! Nice find indeed, even if its non HSM. If it's HSM >> :eek:
 
Jessops are listing the HSm version at £789 and the non-HSM at £342. So prob the non-HSM version
 
the non hsm version, but you know what they say if you haven't got it you dont miss it!!

been playing today its a really great lens.

best buy for ages!!!
