No Home delivery available, and you'd need to type in hundreds of postcodes to find out where in the country it is - they've probably only got one, and it's sitting in the backroom of a store somewhere.

Might be worth a call to them though, see if they'll send it to a local store if anyone is interested.

Picked it up; 180cm x 180cm and about 8 feet tall in box.

Will give it a go as a background to a statue I want to photograph.
 
They're great as a high key background, but also as a big reflector if you've only got a single light and want to fill in the shaded side in a portrait. Well worth it at twice the price!;)

Well I reserved one in Slough yesterday afternoon and received confirmation email and order number. Not trusting my luck and Jessops I gave them a call to make sure that it was ready for collection. Guess what, they didnt have any and blamed their stock control system cos it said they had 3 in stock.

Aren't they kinda reflective though? So if you're using it as a background could be a challenge to light....:thinking:

Or, could make it real easy to blow out the background for high key stuff:D

That's what they are though :lol: - IIRC, they're designed to be reflective to give a better picture when used as intended.

If it's not that reflective then I guess it's all good :thumbs:
 
the black side i guess is too reflective but the white side is okay .. alright for a tenner though!!!
 
Did any of you guys got a second email to say it was ready for pick up? My 1st said ready to collect after the 6th but it also said to wait for confirmation email/text. Not received anything yet and no one answering the phone.
