As anyone got the Jessops 360afd flash, if you have what do you think of it and would you recommend it to someone starting out because of the ttl. I have got a Yongnuo 560 in the post, the Yongnuo doesn't have ttl though so I will use it for off camera flash with wireless triggers. Would the Jessops flash be good on camera as a walk around sort of flash.

Good flash for the money.

It comes up on offer every now and again for £59.99 which you either need to get home delivery or reserve and collect as its not that price in store

I bought one two weeks ago for £40.the seller had 10 avail.

Would you rate it as high as that?

Well...I only need light. It's pretty much as powerful as the sb700 and the only thing I lack is burst shots...no big deal! I didn't use CLS enough to justify the expense of the 900 and wasn't satisfied with the power of the battery consumption on the 700 which was obismal.

For the money I'd say this is a great little piece of kit! Because it's so cheap (even cheaper if bought from ebay) I don't worry too much about it scratching etc.

Another good little trick is to have a small piece of white plastic in your bag that you can bounce the pop up with. I find with full power, iso400 gets me easily up to my highest shutter sync.

This is another one to put into the mix for me then. Sound like a good starting flash for me. I have been looking at the yn 565 but it probably a little bit more than I want to spend to start with.

I had one prior to updating to a couple of Sony units- well worth the asking price and it does what its supposed to

Les
