Yes
watched jim carey in "yes man" or whatever its called recently.
at one point he (stunt man?) rides a ducati .
now a ducati is a v twin.
so why the b****** do the blo dy sound men graft in the sound of an inline four wearing a race pipe.
ooooh thats annoying.
imagine listening to a subaru, that sounds like a v8.
is there any realy annoying moment from a film that gets right on your baps.?

The most annoying thing I've seen in films in the last twenty years is...... Jim Carey. I can't stand the man.

I'd rather be tied to a chair and forced to watch Jim Carey, than anything with Tom Cruise in it. Valkyrie - Great idea for a film, generally well executed - Tom Cruise - WTF !!!!! Surely they could have found someone else.......

I notice it a lot less in indie films because generally they don't have much in them to annoy me. I hate really plain obvious continuity errors, or where the scriptwriters don't research a topic enough and end up just lying and the people who do know about the topic get ****ed off.

Photography in films really annoys me, too, because generally they hold the camera like it's a compact and they have fat off telephoto lenses on at point blank range.

the only 2 films that show jim carey is a good actor are the trumen show and eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, in everything else hes deeply deeply annoying and plays the same character in all of them, which ive got bored of.

charlies angels 2 annoyed me badly the freestyle section was so annoying oh lets hang upside down and shoot guns WTF even the best in the world could never do it they seem to take a long time to aim and fire and it was so badly made in that section

Actually, 23 was a good film (or number 23, it escapes me, but a film i must buy on DVD when it comes down to like £3 )

My friend own a VW Splitty that would annoy the hell out of you then. It's running a 2.5ltr Scooby lump in the back:lol:

i would love that.

oh did they shoot guns? i didnt notice.

The way the Triumph in MI 2 changed to off road spec was more like something from Streethawk :D

Any film that has really bad re voicing in it (ADR). It's just laziness from the sound editors. And the fact that it all sounds like it's been recorded in a box. There is a thing called EQ that a lot of them and sound mixers seem to have forgotten about.

There was a scene on The Bill the other night where the cop was doing some 'convert' photo taking. Anyway he had a kit lens on the SLR and when the photo's were shown in the office they were obviously from a large zoom. Really made me laugh.

I've noticed that with bikes.... Anyway, to my "annoyance". In a former life I used to be an amateur radio enthusiast and can (to a not particularly good standard) read Morse code.

So, why is it that when you see/hear people receiving Morse code, are they either:

1) Receiving it much faster that the actual signal is being sent, or
2) They receive a message saying "Oh, it says xyz..." When it's actually saying something completely difference (in fact it's generally what's known as as a "CQ" call from a ham radio operator).

Sorry, just one of those things that just show that they can't be bothered to research properly.

BTW..... Biker Boyz (I think) the Aprilia Mile sounded very much like my old GSXR 600 to me !!

Steve

fight scenes that are too dark and move about too fast to actually see anything. bloody irritating...
