...so I'm asking the TP motley crue in for a look :)

www.etchacan.com

Couple of points to start:

I know the nav bar is at the bottom, and there's no links as yet, and it appears to have been designed for viewing on a 24" widescreen at 1920*1200(!!) that most of the population don't have.

Apart from those minor points, can you spare the time for a quick shufty and some crit? I'm hoping the general format is OK, just needs some shifting about:)

cheers ta muchley!

It's not too wide but the pages are too tall. The menu bar would be better at the top as it is not on view at 1280 x 1024 or less.

Hi Alasdair

A couple of small points, other than that it looks good

1)
I too would have your navigation at the top, as I have to keep scrolling to get to the menu
2) About page
Should it not be I cover genres as wide ranging as landscapes and mountain,

Rather then He covers genres as wide ranging as landscapes and mountain, as you mention lower down my galleries

3) you should have a contact form as opposed to an email address

4) on your prices page where its says Please email for a quote.
have a link to click to go to your contact form when you have 1

Nav bar at the top for me too.. It's good to be different but that doesnt work at the bottom :)

And I see quite a bit of aliasing on your heading such as CONTACT in the contact page?

As above comments except I actually don't mind the navbar at the bottom, I have no objection to scrolling downwards to see all the page - its side to side scrolling thats a no-no.

I found the collection page very slow to load (maybe my connection today, but don't think so), and not too sure about the haphazard layout of the thumbnails once they're loaded .

Otherwise good effort

The text on the About page would be fine if the second paragraph were on the Prices page. The second paragraph sits more snuggly with the Prices. In the personal profile, it is considered good style to refer to yourself as "he" and by name in writing a personal profile. If the personal profile is full of sentences beginning with the word "I" then the reader begins to tire of a barrage of first person pronouns which give an egotistical or arrogant attitude.

There is a problem with the Back browser button and the Collection page. If you select an image to see in greater detail, then pressing the Back button may not take you back to the Collection. This is giving the user extra clicks.

I don't have a problem with the page size but then I have a monitor of the same size and set to the same resolution. So it works for me.

I hope this helps
