Yes
We've just gone and bought our 1st house :D Just a little excited :woot: Only a little 2 bed but can't wait for it to be completed.

Also managed to pay (what I deem) a huge tax bill

Now where's that pesky taxman :bat: so I can make this a perfect day

Grreat day for you then! Congratulations to you both!!  :D

well done congrats, we were just about to sell ours but have had a change of mind, now i need to un cancel my broadband

Congrats

Nothing like having your own space.

I'm trying to decide if I should have my windows and door replaced or move :D

What a lovely moment for u mate. Hope U enjoy your house for a long long time. Do post some piccies if you can.

congrats... now you get to enjoy decorating it :D

Well done! Big step in the right direction, stressful though it can be.

Hows the fire looking, get a plasterer sorted?

i just need to finish this wiring, then i can fill the wiring chases in and then get someone in to plaster (im still waiting on a number from someone at work:lol: ) and then i can get all the walls papered and painted. then its onwards to getting the fire fitted, then the floor. seems along way off but its keeping me busy :)

Wonderful feeling isn't it? Oh yeah. Shutting the front door for the first time!

We're going through the buying process. Still excited, but fed up with an IFA who's filled in the pwperwork wrong, and solicitors who demand payment then don't do anything.

Still, place to call my own come the end of May hopefully!

There's always so many plans, and so little money. I suspect my camera bag is going to suffer over the coming months!

Must admit, our solicitor and the selling agents have done thier best to spoil what should be a fantastic experince, mainly by being complete morons. But, we still can't wait to move in- and close that door for the first time :D

Not a mansion , but it's home, and means we can have my 3yr old son to stay :D (wish there was a bigger smiley)

Well, just a wee update.

After 7.5 long months, 5 mortgage proposals with 3 companies, £1200 in mortgage fees, 1 hospital visit and numerous days off sick through stress, the @*?$"@ng builders :boxer: have finally completed our house, we are now getting pressurized and threatened :bat: (with financial penalties and interest) to complete within 10 days. So tempted to tell them to poke it, but we'd loose the deposit (too much to loose).

But on the up side, we'll be moved on buy the middle of June :woot:  :woot: Plus my son has already planned where daddy is gonna build his sand pit

Don't have a white door. See the courier thread.

BBQ, now theres a good idea :D

Oh, forgot to say they painted my house PINKof all colours, of all the colours in the world, they chose PINK:bat:

It wasn't me ;)
