Sorry for the long title, i ramble on a bit lol.
Well Hi, i'm Nic (female) i've been lurking for a while (as the title says) and this seems like a great, helpful and friendly site so hopefully i can get some hints and tips from you all.
I'm a 32 year old mum of a 3 1/2 year old boy and have always had an interest in photography and in May my hubby got me a D80 with 18-135mm lens, i have since got a 70-300VR and nifty fifty 1.8 and now i just need to learn how to get the best from them.
So all beware i will probably be asking some very stupid questions soon.
I'll stop rambling now and take a good look around.

Welcome aboard Nic

If your wondering the answer to a problem, chances are there's a couple of other people thinking the same......so ask away

Hi

Marky_h - do you know the area, i would love to find someone who lives close to go out taking pic's with.

Hi & welcome to the forums Nic
You sound like you're sorted - nice countryside, kid to photograph & a better/worse half to buy you camera gear :p

Hi

My older relatives hail from Ditton Priors, but I've not been back to Shropshire for a while. Scenery wise, I expect parts of the Long Mynd are just starting to turn orange and red with autumn leaves, and late afternoon sunsets in Craven Arms and Ludlow would provide some splendid opportunities, as would some early morning foggy shots around Ironbridge and Telford. Just some ideas ;)

Look forward to seeing some shots!

Lurking eh? :suspect:

Glad you have finally joined!!! :D

Hi Nic, and welcome to Talk Photography.

Don't you worry about asking stupid questions. it's only easy if you know the answer, and no one knows everything, so there is ALWAYS something more to learn :)
