Have to admit I might not be understanding this right.
I used to use i-tunes a lot, but not for a few years.
You never had to pay to use it, just pay for albums you bought.
However, I'm told that you do now have to pay for streaming and radio.
So, what does 3 months free mean?
You have not signed up to iTunes you have signed up to Apple Music, you can download for offline play but they are protected files that will not play when sub is ended.
Ah, I see, does sound obvious, I could download a lot of music in 3 months.
I suspect there's some way of circumventing the 'will not play when sub is ended'
Cheers.
Would that not be theft?
That's a valid point. I'm unsure, as yet, whether I have purchased the songs I download; is it akin to buying a physical CD or downloading an album? or am I renting the songs?
I guess I was suggesting something elicit.
Cheers.
So, I signed up for 3 month free iTunes.
Now, if I download albums do I keep them if I cancel my subscription?
Regards.
The equivalent of buying a physical cd would be buying the album from the iTunes Store. You have subscribed to Apple Music, which is different.
