It's a Sunday, so I guess that means my availability should be pretty good. I really must try out this camera I've had in the cupboard for a couple of years, so that'll be it marked on the calendar now.
And I must remember to put the extension tubes on the Pentax in front of the body cap pinhole... although I suppose given the general awfulness, a bit of hard vignetting only adds to the bizarre... er... charm?
Well I'm afraid that life and weather got in the way today, so another Pinhole Day has passed without my involvement. The only upside is that I've had to sort out my b&w chems and I'll be ordering fresh stuff this week to get back into the groove instead of just using old XP2.
This was taken from the road bridge, about 100m north of the south pylon. From this position, you're square on to the middle cantilever of the rail bridge, meaning the structures don't have any displacement from each other, which is evident in the other two cantilevers. It was very windy - even with my backpack hanging on the tripod, I had to hold it down. Also kept my hand on the camera to try and stop it shaking. Acros, f/128, about 3 seconds. Cropped a bit for symmetry and to emphasise the sky.
