its 120cm by 120cm the plan being i can fit the dog and 2 cats in it so if all else fails they have a play house

Hi Kelly,

I'm curious to know why there is, what looks like a zipper in the middle and the surround edging? It will obviously show up when it is lit, but that can be corrected in the editing. Is it a specific make? Does it specify what lights can be used in it?

A very basic and quick answer - The zip in the edge is so that you can open it up to put things inside, the one in the middle is so that you can poke the camera through it, thus giving soft even lighting from all four sides if required.

If you're in a neutral room then just fire as much light as you've got into the ceiling. It will ricochet round, be filtered by the tent and give soft even light.

I bet it's not long before somebody says you don't want that.....

Ahhhhh ........ its a lighting tent. I thought it may be something like a Lastolite highlite background ..... sorry.
