I suppose time will tell but I'm optimistic. I have a feeling though that i'll be dragged straight back in with a second indy referendum up here. Any houses for sale down there? Haha
 
Very true. Isn't it sad that no matter which individual in this case or party in the future takes over you just have no confidence in them. Why are these people so removed from the real world? Is it simply because their world is so removed from ours that they don't know how the working/middle class feel or do they simply not care? I'm talking the elitist old Etonians here first and foremost but even the Millibands of the world had no connection with their Labour voters. It's crazy.
 
OMG I don't know what to do ,got a holiday to Greece booked ,will I have to get a visa now ,will they look at us poor Brits in disdain ,perhaps they will lend us a few bob spending money ,oh woe is me :thinking::thinking::tumbleweed:

TBH I doubt they'll let you in, if they do they may hold you hostage and won't let you out again, until "you" settle their national debt ..

They let us out - yesterday! Mind you, I did make a large contribution to their economy in the form of Ouzo consumption (which I enjoyed muchly!) Going back in just under 10 weeks. The gods only know how long the extraction of the UK from the EU will take even though the referendum has shown that more people want out than in (and, surprisingly, CBA to vote!), so this year's holidays should be unaffected, although the exchange rate isn't too good at the moment...

Will I still be able to buy a euro.millions lottery ticket ,will champagne only be available on the black market ,will people point you out as a remain voter if you drive a bmw,Citroen ,Peugeot etc ,will I have to sell my french poodle ,can you still buy french sticks and french letters ,will aldi and lidl shut down and leave the u.k so many questions and no answers :pint:

Haha they will be desperate for the tourist pound so i wouldn't fret !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember we're already foreigners in these places even if we have the same name on our passports. Just ask old Nigel !!

Well the oil price has plummeted according to the news so that's good news for us right away !!! Oh wait the oil comes from here.

Aye, Ouzo & Mythos. (y) 87 sleeps & we'll be there too.

Exchange rate won't be as good as it's been the last couple of years, but we bought a few hundred last Oct/Nov when it was 1.38 & a few more a couple of weeks ago @ 1.28, so it'll average out not so bad. :cool:

Simon Calder was asked about us maybe having to apply for visa's in the future, for France, Spain etc & he just laughed.

We are only 2nd to Germany, in the world, for numbers of tourists going abroad & he said they'll be more than welcoming. ;)
Our £'s (I don't have a euro key & neither will I need one now :D ) will be more than welcome. :cool:
