Issues with warping in video clips

Hi all

I've got an issue with my Canon M50 where the 60 fps video footage I'm shoot appears to have a very slight warp stabilisation effect causing some shots to seem a bit 'wobbly' as I've used a crappy stabilization effect on them (which I haven't). I've been using a Canon EF S 18-135mm with in body image stabilisation turned on, and not other effects applied in post. I'm using a Viltrox automatic adapter to connect the lens and camera.

Is it possible that the lens stabilization/in body stabilization on the lens/body is causing this wobbly warp stabilization effect - possibly exaggerated by the lens adapter? Or could it be something else?

I would post a link to a video but I've only just joined the forum and don't want to get shadow banned!

Thanks.

Try to replicate the unwanted effect with both forms of IS turned on then repeat the shot with each turned off in turn and hope that cures the problem.

This would've been better in the video forum, George ...

What I do suspect is the camera inbuilt stablisation and the lens stablisation are working against each other. turn of each in turn and try. Not really a good idea both together, try with another lens without stablisation. try at 25fps with shutter speed of 100 mbps or there abouts

just about price that camera and lens works out to about £1,150 or there abouts. Too late now but i would have suggested at least looking at the Sony FDR-AX53 camcorder for £699 and save a few bob. I say this because I recently P/X my old camcorder for it and it has blown everything else out the water video wise in that price range great stills and video and far better zoom without changing any lens which you can't anyway.

 That doesn't make any sense. The shutter speed can't be 100mbps, that's the bitrate of the recording.
If shooting at 25fps, your shutter speed wants to be double the frame rate, so 1/50th
