Well I could suggest a read of a certain guideto get the meteor shower basically it's a case of shooting like a star trail

Basically you would want to set the camera to continuous shooting, aperture of f/4.5ish, ISO800-1600 and 30 seconds exposure...set up and focus to infinity if just stars or on the foreground if you include it, then set the camera off taking exposures...oh and for tonight's display of celestial fireworks you'll be wanting the camera facing appox. North East![]()
You'll need a locking shutter release or worst case some strong tape to tape down the shutter button![]()
